A multidisciplinary subject translated into one cohesive publication

This report by the Staatscommissie MDMA presents key insights and recommendations on the use of MDMA in treatment-resistant PTSD. The commission was established in 2023 by the Dutch Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport, and was asked to investigate the public health status of ecstasy (MDMA) and advise on the pros and cons of medicinal use.

From raw research data to a clear publication

The challenge was to develop an accessible and informative visual style that brings together the different disciplines the subject touches on – including mental healthcare, psychiatry, criminology, and addiction care. Given the large volume of text in the report, we balanced it with fresh charts and illustrations. The result: a 230-page report with clear infographics, illustrations, and clean typography.
